Days · Residency · Visas
TravelDays counts the days you spend in every country, and each US state, then checks them against the residency and visa limits that actually matter. Private by design, on all your Apple devices.

Built for expats, dual-residents, remote workers and anyone who splits their year across borders.
Every day credited to where you were at midnight — by country, and inside the US, by state. Any calendar year, tax year, or custom range.
US Substantial Presence, UK Statutory Residence, the Schengen 90/180 rule, and per-country rules for ~35 countries — each with its correct counting window.
Track your US ESTA (2-year validity and the 90-day-per-entry limit), plus visa-free visitor limits for every other country — with your passport taken into account.
Let the app suggest trips from your location when you arrive somewhere new, or from the date & GPS of your own photos. You confirm every one.
See every place you've visited on a world map sized by days, and a year calendar coloured by country — the whole year at a glance.
Export a clean PDF, text, or CSV of your days by place and the residency tests — exactly what you need at tax time.
Residency & visas
Day-counting is deceptively easy to get wrong. TravelDays uses the right basis for each test — nights for residence, days-present for the US — and the correct window for each country.
One timeline, every device
Your travel history syncs through your own iCloud, so it's always current wherever you check it — full-screen depth on the Mac, at-a-glance on your phone.

Questions
By the "midnight rule" — each day is credited to the country you're in at the end of it. Residence tests use nights; the US Substantial Presence Test uses days you were physically present. The app shows both where it matters, and a full year adds up to 365 (or 366 in a leap year).
