Getting started

Add trips with the + button (a stay, or a flight with automatic transit days), turn on "Detect trips automatically" to get suggestions from your location, or use "Scan photos for trips" to build your history from your own photos' date and GPS. Your timeline syncs across your devices through your own iCloud.

Common questions

Why does a full year show 365 or 366 days?

That's correct — 366 appears in a leap year (2016, 2020, 2024…). Days are credited by the "midnight rule": wherever you are at the end of a day gets that day.

How do I record an overnight flight?

Add a flight and choose "overnight". The app adds the transit night and starts the new country on the day you land, so your counts stay correct.

A year shows too many days — how do I fix it?

Open About ▸ Data check. It flags duplicates, out-of-range dates, and trips that cross New Year, and offers one-tap fixes.

My Schengen or US number looks off.

Set your citizenship in About ▸ Nationality — EU/EEA/Swiss passports aren't limited by Schengen, and US citizens are taxed on worldwide income. The dashboard uses the correct window for each test; tap any tile to see the trips behind the number.

How do I move my data to a new device?

Sign in to the same iCloud account and it syncs automatically. You can also export a JSON backup from About ▸ Backup and import it on the other device.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

In your Apple Account settings (Settings ▸ your name ▸ Subscriptions on iPhone/iPad, or App Store ▸ account on Mac). Cancel during the 1-month free trial and you're never charged.
